Car Free Cities In Europe: found almost  60 percent  of vehicles circulating inside town were actually going around in circles trying to find a parking spot causing congestion and pollution. In Pontevedra Spain.

TODAY: In UK towns motorists go  “round & round”  looking for that one parking space. Motorways are clogged up. People don’t realise it’s causing pollution & congestion…

TODAY: People are buying Electric Cars thinking they are reducing pollution, but many are buying BIGGER SUVs which are causing more and more congestion on our roads and around our schools…

INNER_CITY DEVELOPMENT NEEDS:

• 1. Create “CAR FREE ZONES” in towns
• 2. Create Inner-city tree lined pubic zones
• 3. Exploit Our Inner-city Canals & Waterways
• 4. Convert Old Town Shops Into One Bed Homes
• 5. Build Ring Roads – Car Parking ON The Ring Road
• 6. Join up Public Transport – Trains, Buses, Cycles, Taxis
• 7. Where there was street parking – build new cycle lanes

CLEAN_AIR_ZONES IN CITIES and TOWNS

• 1. PHASE OUT CITY STREET PARKING to eliminate congestion
• 2. CREATE NEW CYCLE LANES by phasing out city street parking
• 3. CREATE PEDESTRIAN FRIENDLY AREAS to, and exclude cars
• 4. CREATE OUT OF CITY PARKING at  £3.00 per day  £2.00 Sat/Sun
• 5. CREATE PARK and RIDE – Out of Town with FREE  CAR PARKING
• 6. We Don’t Need ULEZ Charges…
• 7. WE just need “Common Sense”
